Apr 22. host2help.com's Earth Day Launch - Their Goal: One Million Dollars Each to Good Causes and American Families in 2009 - PDF
"In today's economy, we saw a need to level the playing field. Instead of paying out huge bonuses to the few at the top, we're challenging companies to follow our lead and start by giving back to the community and to households across America," says John Smart, Chief Technical Officer of host2help.com, an exciting new hosting company taking the industry in a revolutionary direction.
Offering income opportunities to anyone who wants to work and sharing proceeds with charities and good causes, host2help.com is redefining social responsibility.
"It became apparent to us that corporate greed was only benefiting a few already wealthy executives at the rest of the world's expense. So we designed a new business model that is simple, unique, effective, and empowering for all those touched by it", John shared. "With so many losing their jobs at the moment, and others struggling to make ends meet, they have an opportunity to join us today at no expense whatsoever. For every standard website hosting account that they sign up with us they will receive $10 per month and continue to for as long as the client remains hosting with us. Other companies typically only offer a single payment for each sale. Continuing the example, if the same reseller signed up 100 new clients in their first month, they would receive $1,000 per month from us, every month. If they were to sell 100 more per month for the next four months, their monthly commission would be $5,000. At the same time, the same amount would also be going to good causes chosen by the reseller and/or the hosting client directly. Help yourself, help others, and everyone wins."
What about growth for the service? CEO Dave Schimandle says "We see no limits. We would love to see other companies share our business model - if you were trying to decide between cable and satellite service, and cable offered $10 a month to a charity of your choice, would you go with satellite? It is in the companies' interests to openly be this involved in the communities we share." When asked about helping in communities, Dave continued "Working for the school's sports department, I see funding issues on a daily basis - With host2help.com, local businesses can choose to share their hosting fees with their kids' schools - any department they feel needs their help - be it music, sports, extra-curricular activities, etc. But the list does not end there - Active community members may prefer to help their church, a local humane society, or any other organization - they can even help out their 'poker night' group. There are no limits, beyond basic human decency. We will not help any hate groups, illegal activities, or anything deemed dangerous.
John states, "We have many plans for extending our range of services to help businesses get the most from their web site at a good price, while giving back to their communities and good causes. There is no upper-limit to how far this can go, and we are very excited by the thought of working in partnership with diverse companies in America and around the world. This is a very exciting time indeed."
