Welcome to host2help.com Support

Mozilla Thunderbird is a free program, available to any one who wants it. It is a very good, very reliable e-MAil program. You can download it by visiting Mozilla Firefox Official web site.
In our examples, we use the account name of 'example@host2help.com' with the password is '1234' the domain name is www.host2help.com - this is a fake account and will not work on your system. You will need to use the e-Mail addresses and passwords you set up either in your Host2Help site admin tool or when you created your account. If you have lost your passwords, you can find out what they are through that interface. If you use another company to host your accounts, this advice may well not work.
We are also unable to help you with e-Mail accounts not used on this service - so if you connect to the Internet through AOL, or any other ISP, if you are having problems with that account, you need to contact your ISP for help.
Launch Mozilla Thunderbird. These screenshots are taken from a Windows Vista 64 bit, but it will be identical in Vista 32 bit, XP (all versions) and 98.Click on "Tools", then select "Account Settings…"

You will see a new window open.

From here you need to click "Add Account…" located near the bottom left corner. This will open another window, called "Account Wizard".

Select "E-mail Account" and click "Next 〉"

Whatever you enter into the "Your name" is what people will see in their "From" field in their mail program. So you will want to include your name, and possibly your company name also. You can use any letter, in lower or upper case, and some symbols. Do not use quotation marks (single or double) as this may upset some mail programs, and may get you classed as spam. Also, do not use block caps, as this may also cause your mail to be classed as spam.
"E-mail address" is the address as defined when you created your account. It is not case sensitive, so you can use capital letters to make it more easy to read. Do not add or remove any charcters though.

Your incoming mail is a POP-3, and your incoming and outgoing mail servers are both mail.your-domain.com so in the case of our example, they are mail.host2help.com
Global inbox is for if you have multiple accounts, and want them to share an inbox - please consult the Mozilla Thunderbird documentation for help on this. If you do not have the documentation, it can be found at the Mozilla.com web site

Your username is your full e-Mail address, in lower case - in our example, this is "'example@host2help.com"
This is just for your reference, when using Firefox, this is how it will reffer to this account, you can call it anything you want.

Now we can click on "Finish". Close the other window, and your account is ready to be used, congratulations!

You can have Mozilla Firefox remember your password, or you can enter it every time you want to send or recieve mail. For more details on this feature, please consult the Firefox documentation, available at the Mozilla web site.
